Trust Economist privacy policy

This policy covers the owner-only Trust Economist YouTube connection. It does not cover YouTube or separate video-production services.

Data and purpose

The connection uses Google authorization credentials to access only the permissions the owner grants. Proposed access is video upload and read access to channel/video information for checking the destination. Approved video files and upload details are sent to YouTube only when an upload is separately authorized.

Credential handling

Credentials are kept separately from video-production files. Connection checks do not expose access-token values in their results. The operator-run connection does not keep a separate database of raw YouTube API responses or channel/video metadata.

The operator's service processes information needed to carry out the owner's request. Messages and files the owner exchanges with that service remain subject to its own data handling. This page does not promise deletion of those records or of separate production files.

Disconnection and deletion

To request disconnection, contact medibolize@gmail.com. The operator-run disconnect process stops the current connection operation, requests revocation from Google and removes the saved connection credential after Google confirms revocation. If either step fails, it reports the incomplete step rather than confirming completion. This is an operator-run process, not continuous background monitoring.

Revoking access does not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. This connection does not retain a separate database of YouTube API data to delete. Any future addition of stored API data or new processors will require an updated policy and the relevant deletion and authorization checks before use.
